Notes

Released alongside the 1991 UK and European reissue of Holiday, The Holiday Collection worked as both a four-track maxi-single and an unofficial companion to The Immaculate Collection. Alongside the full album version of Holiday, it gathered three prominent Madonna Tracks absent from the 1990 compilation: True Blue, Who’s That Girl and Causing a Commotion. The latter appears in its Silver Screen Single Mix, giving this modest release particular appeal to collectors. Compact but purposeful, The Holiday Collection effectively expanded the story told by The Immaculate Collection, restoring several pieces of Madonna’s 1980s catalogue that its streamlined greatest-hits narrative had left behind.
