Eva dresses for her European tour — a song about image, glamour and power that suits Madonna perfectly.
The Song
Sung by Madonna alone, “Rainbow High” shows Eva demanding to be made into a star before the world sees her. It is fast, sharp and theatrical.
Alan Parker’s film of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s musical cast Madonna as Eva Perón, opposite Antonio Banderas as Che and Jonathan Pryce as Juan Perón. She won the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy.
