A punchy dance track dedicated to James Cagney, borrowing its title — and its opening lines — from his 1949 gangster film.
The Song
Written and produced with Patrick Leonard, “White Heat” opens with dialogue from the film White Heat, and the record is dedicated to its star, James Cagney. Its tough, cinematic swagger looks ahead to the role-playing of later records.
