Levitating — The Blessed Madonna Remix places Madonna inside Dua Lipa’s Future Nostalgia universe, a project already steeped in disco memory, club culture and pop lineage. With Missy Elliott also featured, the remix becomes less a standard guest spot and more a cross-generational dance-floor relay.
For an MLVC archive, this belongs in the crossover section rather than the core Madonna singles list. Still, its significance is obvious: Madonna appears not as a relic being referenced, but as an active participant in a modern pop project built from the DNA of dance music history.
